I have an application that was recently submitted, who is processing that application?

"Recertification" and "Reciprocal" applications submitted between May 14th and June 14th at https://cert.smwbe.com/ may still be processed by the City of Saint Paul. After June 14th, Strong & Starlike Consulting, Inc. will begin processing such applications.

If you submitted a "New" application, processing of "New" applications is on hold until July 2024.

I was speaking with/emailing a particular staff person at the City of Saint Paul regarding my application. Who may I contact now?

What are the biggest changes I can expect?

The following are the most notable changes at this time to keep in mind:

Ongoing database clean up
Communication with certified businesses and those with pending applications will take place through the CERT system located at https://cert.smwbe.com as opposed to direct e-mails. Phone calls are still an available option, however, updates will be made through the communication features of the CERT site.
Onsite meetings will be returning when needed during the application processing.
CERT Monthly workshops will be available virtually and in person

Is this the best place to stay up to date on the transition?
